I am excited that you have found me online and that (possibly) you are looking to start some Pilates lessons with me!

 

I've always been passionate about movement and fitness. I first started practising Yoga in 1998 and after a few years decided to do a teaching training in Anusara.  I enjoyed the challenge of working with so many different bodies and abilities. However, when it came to clients who were recovering from an injury. I didn't feel equipped in my knowledge to help them. This took me on a whole new path of learning. I decided to move to China to satisfy my curiosity and studied sports rehabilitation at the Beijing Sports University.

Still wanting to learn more, I found Pilates and fell in love! I quickly learned how it was used for rehabilitation and is a bridge between Physiotherapy and full recovery. I completed my first comprehensive course of study with a contemporary Pilates programme, Polestar Pilates and have worked with educators from Australia, Asia and America. In the last couple of years, I've been fortunate to further my education in the classical Pilates method with Dawne Likhodedova at Windsor Pilates. 

I feel that the classical system is not only an effective and intuitive way to teach and practice but that it allows me to draw on my past education and experience in a meaningful way, to help my students achieve lasting change.

Since practising classical Pilates my body has TRANSFORMED. I have become MORE toned, flexible and have built strength throughout my whole body.
